The Deacon's Fellowship Group invites all Bridge Widows, Widowers and Singles 55 and over to our Annual Holiday Luncheon to be held on November 19th at noon in the Fellowship Hall

Waynesboro Area Refuge Ministry is seeking “Holiday Sweets and Treats” for their upcoming Fundraising Silent Auction! Since the event kicks off both the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, they’re inviting community members to share their favorite homemade specialties. Instead of donating the actual baked good or treat, participants will provide a “contract” for their item.

Bridge is partnering with our friends at the Valley Mission to provide meals for deserving local families as they get back on their feet financially and find permanent housing. On Saturday, November 8th, at 7:45 a.m., our team will prepare and serve brunch while encouraging the attending men, women, and children. Please plan to meet at the Mission between 7:45 and 8 a.m. The team will finish up at about 11 a.m.

THE WELL is hosting its annual women's ornament exchange on Monday, November 24th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Come for a nice evening with other ladies, enjoy a delicious meal, and bring a wrapped ornament to exchange with someone else. This is the PERFECT way to kick off the Christmas season!

Do you ever look around Bridge and wonder, “How do I get involved? What’s next?” If so, join us for Starting Point, a relaxed 1-week study that will open the doors to our mission, strategy, beliefs, and goals for your future here.

We're once again building a large set for Candlelight this year, and we need help to bring this vision to life.  If you are construction or creatively minded, we would love your help, but this opportunity is open to anyone interested. We will be using light equipment - only drills, saws, hot knives -  and, we will be doing framing, foam cutting and painting. Please choose a date and time slot that you'd like to volunteer.  You can come any time during the time block you select.  In other words, if you can't come the entire time, that's okay.  You are welcome to sign up for multiple dates and/or times. If you are bringing someone with you, please make sure to select the total number of people who will be coming.

Bridge will be taking a small group of volunteers to the Operation Christmas Child Packing Center in Boone, NC. We will be leaving Tuesday morning, December 2nd, at 10 am and returning Thursday, December 4th, by 5 pm at the latest. We would love for you to serve with us as we help prepare these special shoeboxes for shipment around the world. Cost approx. $200, per person (exact cost may vary depending on room-sharing arrangements) This fee should include lodging and food. We hope you will consider joining us.

Camp Light is a summer camp for kids with special needs and at-risk youth. Its mission is to show kids with special needs and circumstances that life is only limited by their imagination, and to give them new tools and skills, along with love and support, to inspire them to become anything they dream. Christmas Wonderland is one of their biggest fundraisers for Camp Light. All the money raised at the event will give kids with special needs an opportunity to attend a summer camp adapted to their unique needs and circumstances.

LOVE INC invites the body of Christ to join in this important Kingdom work in our community this Christmas! They will be hosting a special Affordable Christmas Market on November 15th at Augusta EXPO for 30 families with children who are either current Change Your Life students or graduates who have already invested time and energy into their own growth. By participating in the Market, these neighbors are continuing their journey of building self-worth, responsibility, and hope.

We are looking for some volunteers available and interested in helping out with the school. Please check any areas you are interested in, and we will follow up with more information.

As we host a remote service at Wilson High School during this season of construction, we want to ensure that it still feels like Bridge! We would love your help! If you would like to be contacted about helping with one of these teams, please complete this form.
