Fall Fest
Saturday, September 14th
As we move toward the fall season, our Bridge family invites you to join us as we serve our community and the world then celebrate what God had done through our efforts and love! On the morning of Saturday, September 14th over 500 volunteers will be serving together as we frame three homes for families around our community, and pack food for deserving people all over the world. Following the completion of the projects, we will all join together in the main hall at EXPO for a BBQ lunch to celebrate!! We are going to need lots of help and there are many ways to join in and serve at Fall Fest. Both the construction and food packing projects are great for families, adult, students, and children.

Love in Action Outreach Ministry
Are you ready to spread the love of Christ in our community? Sign up today to be part of our Love in Action team! We need volunteers to help prepare and serve meals, or sometimes just bake a plate of cookies or treats for local sports teams, community non-profits, fire, rescue, and healthcare workers. By joining us, you’ll have the opportunity to serve and make a real difference, build meaningful connections with fellow volunteers, and grow spiritually by living out your faith. Our projects occur throughout the year but we are asking that you commit to at least one project per quarter.

Men's Meet and Eat - August
Men, this summer we are offering a brand new summer men's activity designed to connect men at Bridge. The Men's Meet & Eat nights will be simple, relaxing, and fun! Groups of six to eight men will meet around a dinner table, back porch, backyard, or even a local park for a meal and a relaxing time of connecting with a few other Bridge men. We will have these meals hosted throughout the summer in various places around the county. Please check your schedule and if you can make it, sign up for a spot today.

Community Yard Sale Fundraiser
Saturda, August 24th from 7:30am to 1:00pm
The New Zealand Team is hosting a yard sale fundraiser on August 24th from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Bridge. If you are interested in selling your items, you can reserve a 16x16 space for $30 or $50 if you are a vendor. Set can begin on Friday at 5:30 PM and clean up should be finished by 2:00 PM on Saturday. Bring your items to sell; you keep all your profit. We will advertise the event for you. Bring your own tables, chairs, tent, ect.

Bridge women's "Fun In The Sun" event is just around the corner; you won't want to miss it! On Friday, August 16th, from 6:30-8:30 p.m., we will be hanging out at Sherri Burkholder's house (80 Burkholder Lane, Waynesboro) playing corn hole and volleyball, relaxing with other women, eating dinner together, and ending the evening with campfire and s'mores.

Share Hope: Love with Purpose - August

In this four-week class, we will define what it means to build relationships with the hope and goal of sharing the life-giving message of Jesus. We all know people in our everyday lives need Jesus's hope and peace, yet it can be challenging to transform casual relationships into God-centered ones. Share Hope is an interactive class focusing on how we can tactfully, lovingly, and prayerfully share our faith with the people God places in our lives.

This is a four-week study that includes teaching and discussion. Please bring your Bible and something to take notes with. Handouts will also be available.

"20 Something's Ladies Group" - August Event
Saturday, August 24th from 1:00 to 4:00pm
Join a group of ladies in their 20's for a summer get together! We will be at the Layman's house in Waynesboro (address in confirmation email) for fellowship time at the pool. This is a great way to meet new ladies and catch up with old friends. Snacks and drinks will be provided, but feel free to bring something to share.

A fun afternoon of playing outside with friends. We will be in the backyard of Bridge with use of the Patio; some tables and chairs (all metal.) Please bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket to sit on and enough towels for drying off. Water shoes or sandals would be helpful for pavement or patio play.

Tuesdays, Starting September 3rd from 7:00pm-8:00pm
Learn practical English that can help you develop basic conversation skills for everyday life. This class will start September 3rd at Bridge Christian Church and be held every Tuesday night from 7-8 PM.

Spanish Interpreters
Do you have strong Spanish language skills and a passion for community? This is your chance to make a difference! Bridge Outreach is seeking dedicated volunteers to be on a rotation to interpret our Sunday sermon message in Spanish. We would love to share more information about this ministry opportunity with you!
Serve as a Bridge Kids Teacher
All of our Children's Ministry Teachers and Assistants have the flexibility of serving on an every other month rotation allowing them to be serving only six months out of the year. Each Teacher will serve in the same class, at the same service for each of their rotations. Every teacher does have the option to serve every Sunday.
Summer Connect Challenge
This summer from May through August, we are challenging our Bridge family to get connected by hosting or attending the four Summer Connect activities listed! You will meet the challenge if you have hosted or attended all four of the suggested activities by the end of the summer. We would encourage you to take the initiative to “go first” and share an invitation to Bridge people that may have a familiar face, but you have never really gotten to know. Feel free to invite some old friends and some new friends to each activity.
Men's Adventure Series Application - 2024
The goal and purpose of the Men’s Adventure Retreats are to provide men an opportunity to get away from the rush and distractions of daily life and spend a week focusing on what it means to be a man of God. During this special time of spiritual focus, we enjoy God’s amazing creation, participate in fun and challenging activities, and invest in other men determined to grow in Christ. This retreat is for men passionate about growing in Christ while having fun doing it! Look through the list of activities.
