Candlelight Donations
The Candlelight services are an opportunity to celebrate Jesus humbling Himself and coming to earth as the Lamb of God. They are also an opportunity to share His love and truth with our community. And in all honesty, a lot of resources (time, money, talent, and materials) go into making this weekend possible. There is an opportunity to give toward offsetting the cost of Candlelight, by donating through this form or by putting a check or cash in the offering boxes in the foyer.
Frequently Asked Questions
When do doors open?
The auditorium doors will open 30 minutes prior to the service. This allows the previous service to exit and the auditorium to be reset for the next service. The exterior doors will be open, however, there is limited space in the foyer to wait.
Is there assigned seating?
No. Seating for Candlelight is first come first serve.
Is there a dress code?
No, there is no dress code.
Will there be a time of communion?
Yes, there will be a time of communion during each of our services.
This is something we do each week when we gather. It's a time that we pause to remember Jesus’ love for us by His sacrifice on the cross. As followers of Jesus, we have the privilege through the Lord’s Supper to remember His body (represented by the bread) and His blood (represented by the juice) while giving thanks for all that He has done for us. We see this as a time when we gather around this holy table and partake in a holy meal.
During each Candlelight service, one of our pastors will come forward and share about how communion ties into what we celebrate at Christmas. His comments will be followed by a song, and then you will be prompted by a slide on the screen that it is time to take communion. We understand communion is an act of worship for baptized believers to remember Jesus’ sacrifice. If this is something you’re not comfortable with, please don’t feel any pressure to participate.

Lights:
