Why are we raising money now?
Bridge has completed our new building, and we have a unique one-year opportunity before our interest-only loan converts into a principal-and-interest mortgage. Gifts given during this season will help reduce the principal before that conversion happens.
What does “principal reduction” mean?
Principal is the actual amount owed on the loan. When we give toward principal reduction, we lower the balance of the loan itself, which can also reduce the amount of interest Bridge pays over time.
Why does this matter for ministry?
The less Bridge carries in debt, the more future resources can be directed toward ministry: worship, kids, students, discipleship, outreach, missions, and serving our community.
What is the goal of the Built for More campaign?
Our goal is to invite every partner, attender, and friend of Bridge to prayerfully participate in helping reduce the loan principal before the mortgage conversion. Our campaign goal is $1.5 million.
When does the loan convert?
The interest-only period is scheduled to end on November 1, 2027. After that, the loan will convert to a principal-and-interest mortgage.
Is this replacing regular giving?
No. Built for More gifts are intended to be above and beyond regular tithes and offerings so the ongoing ministry and operations of Bridge can remain strong.
How can I participate?
You can give a one-time gift, make a monthly commitment for 12 months, pray about a gift, or speak with church leadership about a major gift.
Can I give monthly?
Yes. A monthly commitment over the next 12 months is one of the most helpful ways to participate because it allows Bridge to plan ahead with greater clarity.
Can I give stock, retirement funds, or other assets?
Yes. Please contact church leadership if you would like to discuss giving through stock, qualified charitable distributions, business gifts, or other assets.
Who is overseeing these funds?
All Built for More gifts will be handled through Bridge Christian Church’s normal financial accountability and oversight processes. Funds designated for Built for More will be used toward principal reduction.
Will we receive updates?
Yes. Bridge will share regular updates throughout the campaign so the church can celebrate progress, pray together, and see how God is providing.
What if I cannot give right now?
You are still part of this vision. Please pray for Bridge, for the people who will be reached through this building, and for God’s provision during this important season.
