Giving Guidelines

Giving together. Serving together.
Thank you for supporting the ministry of Bridge Christian Church. We are grateful for every gift and for the generosity, love, and trust it represents. Together, our giving helps care for people, sustain our ministries, and carry out the work God has called us to do as one body.

Can I give to a specific ministry?
We are thankful for the heart people have for particular ministries at Bridge. To care for the whole church through a shared plan, financial gifts are received into the general fund rather than earmarked by donors for an individual ministry.
Our heart behind this approach is unity. Each ministry is part of the same body, and each has a role in the work of the church. By bringing our gifts together, we support these ministries through a shared commitment to the whole church and the people we serve.

How are financial gifts managed?
Tithes, offerings, and other financial donations are deposited into Bridge’s general fund and distributed according to the elder-approved budget. The Finance Advisory Committee provides oversight, discernment, and guidance to the elders, and expenditures beyond the approved budget require elder approval.
Through our budget, we allocate:
  • 7.5% to Missions
  • 5% to Benevolence
  • 8.5% to Outreach
Together, these allocations represent 21% of every financial gift. Your generosity supports these ministries while also helping sustain the broader work of the church. Although a gift cannot be designated entirely for a specific ministry or event, every gift participates in supporting that work.

Other questions about giving?
Please contact the church office. We would be glad to answer your questions and help you understand how your gift will be used.

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us serve together with unity, purpose, and love.
